It's no secret I'm a Karina fan. Big fan. Huge.
So when I finally got my hands on the second in the Canadian Mountain Man books, I dove right in.

Holy. Hotness!
Maverick.
He's not the short cheesy smiled Top Gun Mav. Oh no, this one is a burly beast of a man that Riley wants to climb like a tree!

Seriously, while many of Karina's men are polished and sexy, this one is just rugged and rough. He's the lead of the mountain rescue team, and when Riley, a take-no-prisioners-I-get-what-I-want kinda gal starts to work with the team, she quickly decides that what she wants is Maverick in her bed. He's originally of the "no fraternizing with coworkers" club, but quickly revokes his membership to spend his time *ahem* tied to Riley.

Did I mention he was hot?
Riley is forward, confident, and up front about who she is - which is beyond refreshing!

The first in the series had a bit more drama and angst, but this one was light, flirty, and fun.
Clearly, I can't wait to see what the third book in this series brings.
