My Review
I'm a fan of the Heartbreaker Bay series, and Jill Shalvis always delivers a fun story with completely alpha males that are most always brought to their knees by some fabulously smart women. This story was no different.
When Diego needs to return home to attend his brother's wedding, he runs into Daisy, the girl that he loved in high school, and the one he let get away. She's planning his brother's wedding, and while she's in the process, she finds that her feelings for Diego have not been resolved - he's still the one.
With some creative scheming by Diego's brother and his fiance, the two are thrown together for their own good, and eventually find their way back to each other permanently.
My only complaint - is that this was a novella, and not a full length novel with the other cast of characters. You do see one or two other mentions of the building occupants, but no real inclusion in the storyline.
For those new to this series, it can be read as a stand-alone. For long time fans like myself, it's a nice addition!
