Scarlett Finn's new release Maestro’s Muse is live!

★★★Release Blitz★★★
Maestro’s Muse by Scarlett Finn

Maestro’s Muse buy link: → http://mybook.to/MaestrosMuse

About the book:

Jaycee Kirk is desperate.
So when she gets an offer to make a shitload of money, she can’t ignore her curiosity.

Beckett Trent is damn sure he doesn’t want a wife. The reclusive artist has to maintain his anonymity, but that makes it tough for him to have the one thing he wants more than anything else: a child.

Jaycee can give him what he needs without complications, because the last thing she wants to be is a mother. But the money, she can’t refuse that.

When she says yes, Beck believes his simple dream can become a reality. That is until she steps into his studio.
There in that private space, the lines between life and art begin to  blur and simple becomes an abstract concept.

Warning: Contains explicit language and imagery. Suitable only for ages 18 and over.

My review:
She's a lounge singer, struggling to pay her grandmother's health care bills and not looking for a relationship. He's a reclusive artist who wants a child but not a wife.

After proposing that she become his surrogate in exchange for financial security, she agrees. Once she moves in with him, he finds that her interpretation of art is an inspiration and uses her as his muse.

Both have parents who didn't want them. Both have issues with believing in love and relationships. Their surrogate contract complicates things further for both.

This was a different story from most of Scarlett Finn's books, and was a surprise to read. No drama, suspense, or mayhem here. Just a good love story..

She's bad at love, but he's even worse...
Marina is hot, blonde, and wickedly smart, but when it comes to men? She's hopeless. Between her quirks and her lack of filter, there isn't a man in Los Angeles that will stick around after the third date.
Her handsome, charming friend Lazarus has the opposite problem. Everyone wants to be his girlfriend, but he gets bored and moves on quickly.
There's only one way to figure out why neither of them has cracked this love thing-- they'll date each other. On paper, it's the perfect experiment. But in reality, things between Marina and Laz get complicated quickly.
They might be bad at love, but they are even worse at being friends.

My Review:
Bad at Love surprised me, and that's hard to do with most books. As I started the chapter, I expected the main characters to hit it off, have a bad relationship, and then some resolution. That. Is. Not. What. Happened. At. All!

Marina's experiences with dating are awkward and embarrassing, and frankly, adorkable! Laz can't keep a woman to save his life. Founded on friendship and bad dates, the two decide to date each other as a "test" to see what is wrong with them. It's a great friends-to-lovers story that kept me laughing, occasionally crying, and turning the pages for more.

I loved the connection between the characters, the punny lines throughout the book, and the important yet subtle message of saving the bees! It's one of Karina's BEEst works yet!!
Yes, I'm all about the BEES!

The Other Brother by Meghan Quinn. Blog Tour and Review!

THE OTHER BROTHER by Meghan Quinn is finally here! Check out the excerpt and teasers!

THE OTHER BROTHER
NA Romantic Comedy
Model: David Harris

ORDER HERE:

I got the call. The dreaded call every child fears. My dad wasn’t well, and the man who had always been my everything needed me.

There was only one thing to do; pack up and head back to my hometown. I had finally made my dream life in the city with the great job and loving boyfriend. But was there really a choice not to go?

I found a wonderful job, a quaint house to rent, my boyfriend was working on joining me in Binghamton, and my favorite pizza place was only miles away. Life was good.

Until I met my neighbor.

It's been three years since I'd seen Aaron Walters, and my God is he all kinds of sexy gorgeous. Figures. He was supposed to be my forever, the man I grew old with, but he had different plans. How can a man who ripped my heart apart still trip me up? How can he make me still want him now more than ever?

I’m tempted, I’m drawn toward him, I’m completely and utterly unaware that I’m dating his biological brother.

Now two men own my heart. The question is, which brother will I choose?

EXCERPT:

Why? Why does he have to magically appear in my life? Moving back to Binghamton, I thought about the possibility of maybe running into him, but I thought it unlikely, something that would never really happen.

Boy, was I wrong.

What a sick joke life is playing on me.

Aaron Walters, the boy who broke me into pieces is my neighbor.

I can’t fathom the impact I feel already.

Seeing him in hip-hugging jeans and a tight, plain shirt did a number on me. It kept me up all night as memories of what we used to have flooded my mind.

His voice.

His stature.

The way he used to kiss my neck.

The way I felt so protected in his arms.

Too bad his arms couldn’t protect me from his devastating, heart-breaking self.

And hell, he looked good. Too good.

He’s always been tall with handsome features and a chiseled jaw, but now he’s bulked up to the point that I could see his abs flexing under his shirt, the same shirt that stretched over his biceps.

But it wasn’t his muscles or handsome features that once again made my heart ache, it was those eyes. So bright, so blue, so kind, but still so sad. It reminded me of the first day I met him, of the day he stole my heart from every other man on the market.

Broken, unsure, yet yearning for love. It was all there, and like experiencing a moment of déjà vu, I was transported back into a time when I felt invisible, like I could conquer anything with him at my side.

Once again, I was wrong.

My Review:
4.5 stars.
For those reading Megan's series on the three best friends that anyone could have, the final book with Smalls is hands down the best.

Aaron, living in a neighborhood with geriatric residents, agrees to hell out his elderly neighbor rent out her house after she moves out of state. As he goes to greet the new resident, he realizes that it's his ex girlfriend Amelia. She's moved back home to care for her aging father who is ill.

Amelia is trying to maintain a long distance relationship with her boyfriend, who has been planning to join her in her new town soon. Much is revealed... Why Aaron broke up with her, what her boyfriend really wants, and who these two men are connected.

As with the others in this series, there's hilarity, heart, and of course, Little Debbie's!
Probably my favorite, it can be read as a stand alone

About the Author:

Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if "It's Raining Men" starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.

Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing... enter her first novel, Caught Looking.

Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!
