The second Bayou Magic book focuses on many of the themes and includes the same people as the first book, but you get Lucien as part of the mix. He and Millie have known each other forever. Literally. And their souls continue to find each other but sadly death comes for one of them each time they're together. This time, they are joining forces with Millie's sister and others to try and defeat the evil spirits that are trying to tear them apart.
While the first book had the serial killer focused on Brielle, this one focuses on Lucien, as a way to get to Millie.
It's the second in the series, and I only wish that the third was coming sooner. It's going to be a long wait for the finale and the showdown of "the six."
