My Review:
4.0 stars.
I really enjoyed the first book - fun banter, Rosie was a
hot mess of naiveté. Hilarious roomies. I had no idea there would be a second
book! The Randy follows Rosie as she’s writing her first romance novel, and
trying to handle the ridiculousness of her BFF’s bachelorette penis party! She’s
so out of her element when trying to pull this off, you almost feel bad for her…except
all you can do is laugh! She’s so embarrassed about sex, dirty talk, anything
related to your body parts:
“That’s why we called them private parts,
because our parts were supposed to remain private. At least that’s what my
mother told me”
Mine too, Rosie. Mine too.
That’s good ol’ Catholic upbringing for ya!
While I really enjoyed Rosie and her story, this time it was all
about Henry. HENRY! He was awesome in the first book "Virgin Romance
Novelist" and honestly, HE steals the show this time around. Dealing with
Rosie and her crazy mood swings, trying to do all the right things but getting
it all wrong. Rosie is so insecure!
“Guess I was waiting for
something to happen, something like Henry waking up and realizing he was too
good for me”
Henry just hangs in there,
reassures her, and is finally able to convince her she’s all he wants. Did I
mention that HENRY was awesome?
The story of Rosie becoming an author is a nice way to
wrap up this story. Plus, you get a few gems about books in general from a true book lover!
I'm quickly becoming a fan of Meghan's books and look
forward to more from this hilarious author! If you haven’t read the
first book – do it! It’s on sale!

About the Author:
Born in New York and raised in Southern
California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired
swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if
"It's Raining Men" starts beating through the air and heaven forbid
you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped. Once
she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for
three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male
voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she
decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running
through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper
option and started writing... enter her first novel, Caught Looking.

border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her
life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind
shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger
