My Review
The Ward sister's series concludes with Forbidden, and I think this is probably my favorite in the series!
This
one focuses on Isabel, the sister with brick walls around her that few
can break through. Aiden is a former MMA fighter and purchased the gym
that Isabel works and and loves. His arrival causes her to stumble,
stutter, and act completely different from her normal self. As you read,
you discover why.
Aiden is a recent widower, and comes with his
daredevil daughter Anya move to Washington from California to escape
the reminders of what they've lost. The connection between Aiden and
Isabel really comes through Anya, and this is a SLOW BURN novel.
Good
news is that Karla isn't stepping away from the Wards completely. The
back of the book shows the Ward family 2.0 will continue and I cannot
wait!
