 Blind Faith follows the story of Nate, a genetically engineering soldier who is desperately trying to find codes for a “kill chip” implanted in him and his brothers spines. Audrey is the daughter of a scientist with a secret military organization who performs experiments on people in the military, including her own daughter. Nate and Audrey have a past – one that Audrey’s mom instigated and eventually, had a hand in ending. Audrey's mom, along with the Commander who runs this military organization, have been creating and twisting the lives of Nate, his brothers, and Audrey.

Audrey is working for a senator that has a hand in dishing out defense funding. Despite their outward position of trying to secure funding for The Commander and his organization, the two of them are trying to uncover the evidence needed to finally put an end to The Commander and his twisted experiments and send him to jail for what he has done. During a political fundraiser, Nate sees Audrey for the first time in years.  Nate needs answers from Audrey, his ex-girlfriend who left him five years ago. Along with finding the codes to save him and his brothers, he also needs to find out if his younger brother Jory is still alive. Audrey's connections to the military base, The Commander, and her mother, Nate thinks that Audrey can help him find the codes to deactivate the kill chips and find his brother. With the Senator helping as an ally, the three set out to bring down the commander and his entire operation. Nate and Audrey decide to work together as well, and get information on the codes for the chips, as well as find the location of Nate’s missing brother Jory. 

The chemistry between Nate and Audrey was intense! Old feelings spark again, and their time together is hot! The suspense in the book kept me on my toes and reading through to the end! This is great book with suspense, action, and intrigue. It took me a minute to figure out what was happening. As a new Zanetti reader, I wasn’t aware that this was the third in a series. Duh – now I need to go back and read the first two books! I’m definitely a fan of this book and can’t wait to dig into her other works.

Highly recommend to those that love political thrillers, romantic suspense, and science fiction. Grab this one here, but get the earlier ones and read in order!
